EGT Spain has been awarded the Responsible Gaming Seal and international validation from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®), marking a significant milestone in its commitment to responsible gaming and corporate sustainability.
The certification was presented during an official ceremony at Santoña Palace in Madrid, recognizing the company’s adherence to rigorous global standards in consumer protection and social responsibility. As a member of the Plataforma para el Juego Sostenible, EGT Spain demonstrated full compliance across key operational and ethical benchmarks.
Comprehensive audit and global alignment
The evaluation, led by GLI Responsible Gaming Specialist Mike Randall, assessed 12 core areas of commitment. The audit highlighted a holistic and forward-looking approach, with strengths including proactive prevention strategies, social innovation initiatives, and evidence-based methodologies backed by academic validation.
Notable programs such as Project FES and FES DIScapacidad were recognized as international references in preventive education, while the platform’s collaborative model—linking public institutions, healthcare providers, educators, and civil organizations—was cited as a best practice framework.
The GLI validation also aligns the platform’s standards with leading global bodies such as the World Lottery Association (WLA) and the European Gambling and Betting Association (EGBA), reinforcing its international credibility.
