Gaming Laboratories Internatinal (GLI) recognized as certifying entity by Brasilian Ministry of Finance

(Brasilia).- Today, an ordinance published in the Federal Official Diary signed by the Ministry of Finance's Substitute Secretary for Prizes and Betting, Simone Aparecida Vicentini, recognises the operational capacity of Gaming Laboratories International LLC - GLI as a certifying entity for betting systems, live game studios and online games to be used by fixed-odds lottery operators.

The recognition is valid for a period of three years, counted from the publication of the Ordinance, provided that the conditions of legal qualification, tax and labour regularity, suitability and technical qualification demonstrated in the records of SEI Process No. 14022.015312/2024-50 are maintained, according to SEI Technical Note No. 540/2024/MF, pursuant to art. 17 of Ordinance MF-SPA/MF No. 300, of 24 February 2024.

The text of the Ordinance is below:

ORDINANCE SPA/MF NO. 504, OF 22 MARCH 2024

THE SUBSTITUTE SECRETARY OF PRIZES AND BETTING OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE, in the use of the powers conferred on her by art. 55, item I, paragraph "d", of Annex I to Decree no. 11.907, of 30 January 2024, considering the provisions of item I of art. 4 of MF-SPA/MF Ordinance no. 300, of 24 February 2024, resolves:

Art. 1 To recognise the operational capacity of Gaming Laboratories International LLC as a certifying entity for betting systems, live game studios and online games to be used by fixed-odds lottery operators.

The recognition referred to in the caput is valid for a period of three years, counting from the publication of this Ordinance, provided that the conditions of legal qualification, tax and labour regularity, suitability and technical qualification demonstrated in the records of SEI Process No. 14022.015312/2024-50 are maintained, according to SEI Technical Note No. 540/2024/MF, under the terms of art. 17 of MF-SPA/MF Ordinance No. 300, of 24 February 2024.

Art. 2 This Ordinance comes into force on the date of its publication.
