Official list of the 18 bet sites to operate in Brazil

The Ministry of Finance's Bureau of Prizes and Betting granted permission for 18 more betting shops to operate permanently in Brazil until 2029. The concessions were published in the Official Federal Gazette (DOU) on Tuesday 18.

On 1 January 2025, 66 companies were regularised after undergoing a process of adaptation. Even so, other bets continued to apply for validation, which means that the Treasury will continue to check each case, even after regulation of the market has begun in the country.

In order to be granted the concession, each company had to pay R$30 million in grants to the federal government. In addition, certain prerequisites were established to try to inhibit compulsive gambling and keep out underage players, for example.

Among the main measures that came into force in the new year are:

  • the ban on credit for bets and entry bonuses;
  • the requirement for punters to be identified by CPF and facial recognition; and
  • strict control of financial flows.

In addition, as a way of differentiating companies that are regulated from those that operate illegally, authorised brands must adopt the ‘.bet.br’ domain.

Below, you can find the new bet sites authorized by the government to operate in Brazil:

  • HIPERBET
  • F12.BET
  • LÍDERBET
  • GERALBET
  • B2XBET

  • ESTRELABET
  • UPBETBR
  • 9D
  • WJCASINO
