Updated list of betting companies that operates in Brazil until the end of this year, reaches 96 companies

(Brasilia).- The Ministry of Finance has updated the national list of betting companies authorized to operate fixed-odds betting in Brazil until December 31, 2024.
There are now 96 companies with 213 brands, while state lists include 18 companies. The update follows the SPA/MF Ordinance No. 1,475 of 2024.
The inclusion of companies on the national list followed clarification of issues identified in the course of the authorisation process and, once remedied, they can be considered as companies in a period of adjustment, under the terms of SPA/MF Ordinance No. 1,475 of 2024.
In addition, the SPA has updated the list of legal entities authorised by states to operate fixed-odds betting within their territories, under the terms of art. 35-A of Law no. 13756 of 12 December 2018, whose brands and internet domains have been informed to the Ministry of Finance to date.
It should be noted that the states themselves are fully responsible for their authorisation decisions, which must be made in compliance with federal legislation.
