(Madrid).- The certifications strengthen Zitro’s environmental strategy by supporting rigorous measurement of greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint of its products throughout their life cycles.
Strengthening Environmental Management
Zitro has announced the renewal of its ISO 14064 and ISO 14067 certifications, two internationally recognized standards that support effective environmental management and carbon footprint assessment.
The achievement is aligned with the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments and reinforces its ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact while promoting more sustainable practices across its operations.
Rigorous Measurement of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
The ISO 14064 standard establishes a framework for quantifying, monitoring, and managing an organization’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
By renewing this certification, Zitro will continue to systematically measure and manage emissions across its facilities and value chain. The process strengthens the company’s approach to monitoring its corporate carbon footprint and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Assessing the Carbon Footprint of Products
Meanwhile, ISO 14067 focuses on the carbon footprint of products throughout their entire life cycle.
The internationally recognized standard provides a consistent methodology for evaluating the climate impact associated with products, helping ensure that carbon footprint information is measured and reported according to established global criteria.
Advancing Sustainability Across the Gaming Industry
For Zitro, renewing both certifications demonstrates the company’s rigorous approach to measuring and managing its carbon footprint in accordance with recognized international standards.
The certifications also highlight Zitro’s commitment to responsible resource management and continuous improvement across its operations. Through these initiatives, the company aims to strengthen its environmental performance and contribute to the development of a more sustainable gaming industry.
