(Barcelona).- Cirsa closed the third quarter of the year with an operating profit of 158 million, 7.1% more than in the same period of 2022, it explained in a statement this Wednesday.
For its part, operating income was 493 million, 8.6% more than a year ago and the company has assured that the results "confirm the solid growth trend of the company's business." In the first nine months as a whole, operating income was 1,475.2 million and Ebitda was 467.1 million.
By divisions, Casinos results "continue to be marked by the improvement in the trend compared to 2022" and the company continues to execute commercial and cost efficiency plans.
SPAIN SLOTS
It had "a very good pace of evolution in both revenue and Ebitda", while Slots Italia recorded a consolidation of growth in the first half, and online gaming and betting had significant increases in volume and margin.
ITALY SLOTS
After a very positive first half in revenue at an organic level in both AWP and VLT compared to 2022, in the third quarter we recorded a consolidation of growth in Italy. The full incorporation and synergies of Modena Giochi have provided the operation in Italy with an improvement and consolidation of its revenues and EBITDA.
ONLINE GAMING AND BETTING
The results of the online gaming and sports betting division were favorable in the quarter compared to the previous year, with significant growth in both volume and margin in all the markets where it operates. Efficient marketing management, as well as multichannel and customer intelligence strategies continue to drive constant improvement in results. In addition to Spain, growth in Italy and Mexico stands out.
The brand continues to strengthen thanks to our association agreement with Manchester City for the second consecutive season, and the sponsorship agreement with the America's Kings League Santander to consolidate our position in regulated Latin American markets.
