Eight Gambling Operators Secure License Renewals in the Netherlands

(Amsterdam).- The Netherlands Gaming Authority (Ksa) has granted the first eight license renewals to online gambling operators.
The initial online gambling licenses were issued in 2021 when the Dutch market was legalized. Those licenses are set to expire at the end of September 2026. The renewed licenses will be valid from October 2026 through September 2031.
Eight companies have their licenses renewed
The following companies have received a license renewal:
TOTO Online B.V. (TOTO and Winnitt)
Holland Casino N.V. (Holland Casino Online)
Play North Limited (Kansino)
FPO Nederland B.V. (FairPlay Casino)
Bingoal Nederland B.V. (Bingoal)
Hillside (New Media Malta) Plc (Bet365)
NSUS Malta Limited (GG Poker)
Betent B.V. (Betcity)
When evaluating the applications, the Ksa reviewed several different areas. A new aspect of the renewal process is that the Ksa now explicitly considers any violations definitively established over the past five years.
Operators Meet Ksa Compliance Requirements to Secure Five-Year Renewals
Operators were required to explain the measures they implemented to rectify past violations and prevent them from recurring. Based on this assessment, the Ksa provided additional specific points of attention to certain operators.
All eight operators met the licensing requirements. With their new licenses, they can continue operating in the Dutch online gambling market for the next five years.
