(Sofia).- On the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Alphabet, Culture and Education, 24th of May, the software company Amusnet Interactive made a donation of 195 smart devices to Vidin municipality. This is the second donation that the company has made in the Northwest region, following the first one in Vratsa, aiming to improve the educational process in local schools.
The number of devices is distributed according to the needs of the nine schools included in the campaign. The event was attended by the company’s representatives, the mayor of Vidin, Dr. Tsvetan Tsenkov, Mrs. Borislava Borisova, Deputy Mayor for Humanitarian Affairs and Social Policy.
“All students must have equal access to high-tech solutions in education. As a software company, we believe modern technologies in the educational process are crucial, and knowledge and progress remain unreachable without them.”, commented Liliya Chatalbasheva, Marketing and Communications Director at Amusnet Interactive.
“We are grateful for Amusnet Interactive’s support to the local schools. The smart devices donated by the company will facilitate distance learning activities and as well as on-site activities.” said Dr. Tsvetan Tsenkov, Mayor of Vidin, who also highlighted that the donation takes place in the right time – on the eve of the brightest Bulgarian Holiday, the 24th of May.
