Pedro García Aguado and the FES Project again on esRadio

In an interview on the esRadio program "Es la Mañana de Fin de Semana", Pedro García Aguado explains the mistakes that should be avoided in communication between parents and adolescents as well as the advice that parents should follow, among which he recommends a model of horizontal communication, putting themselves at the level of the children, communicating from equality, understanding that they must comply with certain rules and limits so that, from a well-carried authority, teach the children to live together.

Pedro García Aguado has also spoken about a topical issue that affects many adolescents, which is "FOMO", a word from the English expression "Fear of Missing Out".

This pathology causes the person to have the need to be continuously connected to what others are doing, seeking to interact with social networks to participate in the experiences of others, thus creating an environment of anxiety and insecurity when those experiences are lost.

The interview reveals that it is not enough for adolescents to experience things, but rather they have to share them on networks and have social recognition. They are afraid of missing exciting moments and this generates great anxiety and low self-esteem.

On the other hand, García Aguado explains what young people have in this regard in the talks that he is carrying out hand in hand with the Platform for Sustainable Gaming as ambassador of the FES Project and details the main objective of the project, which is the to prevent this and other behavioral addictions, disorders caused by the misuse of information and communication technologies.
