AGEM Index Rises 8.2% in June Despite Year-on-Year Decline

(Las Vegas).- The AGEM Index posted a strong monthly recovery in June 2026, climbing 128.94 points to 1,707.15, an 8.2% increase compared to May. Despite the rebound, the index remained 10.3% lower than a year earlier, reflecting continued challenges across the global gaming supplier sector.
Aristocrat Leads Monthly Gains
Five of the nine companies included in the AGEM Index reported share price increases during June, resulting in five positive and four negative contributions to the index.
The strongest performer was Aristocrat Leisure Limited, whose 22.3% increase in share price contributed 136.32 points to the index. Crane NXT Co. also delivered a notable performance, with its stock rising 31.7%, adding 27.95 points. On the downside, Konami Corp. was the largest negative contributor, despite its efforts to improve performance, as its 6.7% decline in share price reduced the index by 37.50 points.
Mixed Performance Across U.S. Markets
The broader U.S. stock market delivered mixed results during June. The NASDAQ declined 2.8%, while the S&P 500 fell 1.1%. In contrast, the Dow Jones Industrial Average posted a 2.5% gain over the month.
Produced monthly by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the AGEM Index tracks the stock performance of nine leading global gaming equipment suppliers, providing a snapshot of the financial health of the gaming manufacturing sector worldwide.
