(Sydney).- Australia-based slots maker Aristocrat Leisure boosted its final dividend after its annual profit rose, and said it will continue to actively pursue strategic acquisitions.
Aristocrat said its key profitability metric, known as normalized NPATA, rose 12% to 1.55 billion Australian dollars, equivalent to US$1 billion, in the 12 months through Sept. 30.
On a constant currency basis, NPATA rose 9%. Revenue rose 11% to A$6.3 billion.
The company declared a final dividend of 49 Australian cents per share, compared to 42 Australian cents in the prior corresponding period.
Aristocrat said the result reflected market share gains across its portfolio and the inclusion of recently acquired NeoGames for the full 12-month period.
More specifically, the company said its land-based gaming unit continued to deliver market share gains, and that its key social casino franchises continued to outperform the market.
It said its real-money gaming unit delivered revenue growth, though mainly due to the inclusion of NeoGames.
"This year was a period of positive transition for Aristocrat as the business aligned its portfolio to refreshed priorities," Chief Executive Trevor Croker said.
Looking ahead, Aristocrat said it expects to deliver NPATA growth over its 2026 fiscal year on a constant currency basis, citing continued market share growth in its gaming and social casino units.
It added that it expects accelerating performance at its real-money gaming unit.
