The latest figures from the Danish Gambling Authority show an increase in Danes’ gambling spend in July 2024 compared with the same month last year
In July 2024, the Danes' gambling spend on betting, online casino, gaming machines and land-based casinos amounted to DKK 554 million. This is an increase of 2.5 per cent compared to July 2023.
The total increase is driven by an increase in the spending on online casino and a slight increase in the spending on betting. Conversely, the spending on gaming machines and land-based casino in July 2024 decreased compared to July 2023.
