Macau casino revenue in March reached US$2.46 B, up 0.8 %

(Macau).- Casinos generated MOP 19.66 billion (US$2.46 billion) in gross gaming revenue (GGR) in March, marking a year-on-year increase of 0.8 per cent.

Compared with February, last month’s total was 0.4 per cent lower.

According to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, casinos generated a total of MOP57.66 billion in GGR during the first three months of the year—up 0.6 per cent from the same period a year earlier.

Macau started 2025 with a lower-than-expected GGR of MOP18.25 billion, marking a 5.6 per cent decline compared to the previous year.

Macau authorities have forecast a total GGR of MOP240 billion for 2025, based on a conservative estimate of a 6 per cent year-on-year increase.

In 2024, the city recorded a year-on-year rise of nearly 24 per cent, with the full-year GGR amounting to MOP226.78 billion.
