Maryland Casinos Report $172.2 Million in April Gaming Revenue

(Baltimore).- Maryland’s six casinos achieved their strongest month of Fiscal Year 2026 in April, generating $172.2 million from slots and table games. The total marked a 5.9% increase over April 2025, underscoring steady growth in the state’s gaming industry.

Maryland Casinos Report $172.2 Million in April Gaming Revenue

Last month, Maryland’s six casinos recorded their highest earnings of Fiscal Year 2026, bringing in $172.2 million from slot machines and table games. This figure represents a 5.9% rise compared to April 2025, highlighting consistent growth across the state’s gaming sector.

Maryland monthly Casino revenue

Casino gaming contributions to the state during April 2026 totaled $72,469,331, an increase of $1,894,893, or 2.7%, compared to April 2025. The April 2026 contributions included $52,298,102 to the Education Trust Fund, an increase of $1,393,368, or 2.7%, compared to April 2025.

Through the first 10 months of Fiscal Year 2026 (July 2025 through April 2026), casino gaming revenue is $1,604,706,751, down 1.4% compared to the same period in FY2025; and contributions to the state are $687,986,790, down 1.1% year-over-year.

In addition to the Education Trust Fund, casino gaming revenues support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: 

MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,678 slot machines, 179 table games)
$63,281,689 in April 2026, an increase of $4,335,020 (7.4%) from April 2025

Horseshoe Casino (1,350 slot machines, 115 table games)
$15,105,682 in April 2026, a decrease of $473,713 (-3.0%) from April 2025

Hollywood Casino (665 slot machines, 18 table games)
$7,504,964 in April 2026, a decrease of $374,029 (-4.7%) from April 2025
