One of the most notable events of the year was Super Bowl LIX, which saw $12.2 million in gross gaming revenue alone. Massachusetts collected $2.4 million in taxes from the 44.6 million wagers placed on the big game.

Sports wagering operators reportedly spent $190 million with numerous diverse vendors and suppliers, contributing to the economy of the Commonwealth.
