Agreement between the General Directorate of the Regulation of Gambling and the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation signed

(Madrid).- The Royal Spanish Tennis Federation and the General Directorate of the Regulation of the Game have signed a collaboration agreement for the adhesion of said Federation to the Global Research Service of the betting market.

The purpose of the Service is the prevention and fight against fraud in the sports betting market and manipulation in competitions of this type, through the timely exchange of information between its participants. Therefore, through this agreement, the Federation may send information and alerts about irregular sports bets or suspicious bets made within the framework of a sporting event that is likely to be fraudulent, thus coordinating efforts to fight against manipulation and fraud in the Sports field.
This Service is regulated by Law 13/2011, of May 27, on the regulation of gambling, in its ninth additional provision, and is directed and managed by the General Directorate of Gambling Regulation.
