(Buenos Aires).- The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has signed a new regional sponsorship with online bookmaker W88 who will become the official AFA sportsbook in the Asian market.
W88 said this agreement with the Argentinean National Teams will continue consolidating its brand development in Asia.
The agreement runs until the end of 2022, covering the Qatar World Cup. No value was given for the sponsorship.
AFA President Claudio Tapia, said: “In all these management years we have developed a strong expansion of our AFA brand in markets that in the past, were not commercially exploited such as the Asian market. Thanks to this job, we can build agreements like this one with important brands that find in AFA today, a strategic partner for their marketing plans in this important region.”
W88 said the AFA deal is a huge milestone for the brand in terms of its marketing partners.
“We are a very ambitious brand and are excited to have joined forces with the current South American champions. Being able to link with arguably the world’s best player and squad shows the ambitions we have and partnering with one of the favourites for the upcoming World Cup is very exciting,” said W88 Business Development Manager Hilly Ehrlich.
