Circa Sports faces $7.2M overlay in football contests

(United States).- Circa Sports is placing up an unprecedented $10 million in assured prize money for its two $1,000-entry NFL handicapping contests.

Circa had 1,554 entries Monday in the Circa Million III, which wants 4,000 entries to fulfill its $4 million assure. The guide had 1,237 entries in Circa Survivor, which wants 6,000 entries to fulfill its $6 million assure.


“We’re tracking at a good pace on the Circa Million. Historical data shows that we usually do 70 to 75 percent of the sign-ups in the last two weeks,” Circa sportsbook operations supervisor Jeff Benson mentioned. “Circa Survivor will probably be a tall activity to get to $6 million. It’s most likely just a little little bit of an underdog to get to that quantity.


“Hopefully, the market comes in and gobbles up the overlay, and we’re not left holding the bag too bad.”


In the Million, contestants decide 5 NFL sides in opposition to the unfold every week throughout the 18-week season.
