(Sofia).- New social media initiative brings together football passion, employee engagement and World Cup excitement through match predictions from EGT’s own football team.
As football fans around the world turn their attention to the FIFA World Cup 2026, Euro Games Technology (EGT) has unveiled “All Eyes on Football: EGT Team Picks”, a new social media campaign that invites audiences to engage with the tournament through predictions and interactive content.
The initiative launches a showcase of the people behind EGT’s football team sharing their forecasts for selected World Cup matches, allowing followers to compare their own predictions with those of the company’s players throughout the tournament.
A Campaign Inspired by the World Cup
The campaign will follow some of the competition’s most anticipated moments, including key group-stage clashes, matches involving major football nations and the knockout rounds, where fan engagement traditionally reaches its highest levels.
Through a series of social media activations, EGT aims to create a more personal connection with its audience while celebrating one of the world's biggest sporting events.
More Than Football: A Reflection of Company Culture
While football serves as the centerpiece of the campaign, EGT emphasizes that the initiative is also a showcase of the people behind the company.
Founded in 2006, the EGT football team brings together employees from a wide range of departments and professional backgrounds, including production managers, quality assurance specialists, technical experts, coordinators, supply specialists and administrative staff.
Over the years, what began as informal after-work matches evolved into a longstanding element of the company’s culture.
Building Teamwork Beyond the Workplace
Nikolay Georgiev, Production Director at Euro Games Technology and captain of the company’s football team, highlighted the role sport plays in strengthening relationships across the organization.
According to Georgiev, football helps employees improve communication, teamwork and collaboration while creating stronger bonds between colleagues from different areas of the business.
He also noted that the campaign offers an opportunity to showcase a different side of EGT’s workforce, beyond their professional responsibilities.
Meet the EGT Team Picks Participants
The employees participating in the prediction campaign include:
- Nikolay Georgiev – Production Director and team captain
- Blagovest Tsenov – Senior Supply Specialist
- Antoan Vasilev – Production Coordinator
- Rafaelo Markov – Deputy Unit Manager
- Hristo Velchev – Unit Manager
- Angel Angelov – Production Manager
- Tsvetoslav Dimitrov – Electronics Technician
- Konstantin Tsvetkov – QA Engineer
Throughout the World Cup, EGT will introduce each participant, giving followers a closer look at their professional roles, personalities, interests and football perspectives.
Supporting Sports and Employee Communities
The Team Picks initiative reflects EGT’s broader commitment to employee wellbeing, team spirit and active lifestyles.
In addition to football, the company supports a variety of internal sports and recreational activities, including table tennis, tennis, chess, esports, foosball, billiards and traditional folk dancing.
With more than 4,500 employees, offices in over 28 countries and operations spanning more than 100 markets, EGT continues to promote a workplace culture that values both professional achievement and personal passions.
Connecting with Fans Throughout the Tournament
As the World Cup unfolds, EGT’s Team Picks campaign aims to engage football fans, industry stakeholders and employees alike through predictions, discussion and interactive content, celebrating the global tournament while highlighting the people who help drive the company’s success.
