Event in Chile highlights Lottopar experience in sports betting regulation

(Parana).- Participating by videoconference, director-president of Lottopar presented to the Latin American market the steps taken by the Government of Parana to strengthen the regulated sports betting market, offering a responsible and safe entertainment option.
On the 29th and 30th, the 4th edition of CGS took place in Santiago, Chile, a meeting that brought together the main names of the sports betting market in Latin America. The director-president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski, highlighted the role of Paraná in the regulation of the sector and the main initiatives of autonomy that contribute to this entertainment market in a safe and responsible way.
In the panel, the participants of CGS Santiago presented the steps taken for the structuring of the Lottopar operations, such as the contracting of a Management Platform and Payment Means without costs for the State, or the launch of a credential edition and the granting of bets fixed quota, as “bets”, the credential of testing and certification laboratories and also the concern of autonomy in transmitting to the population, through tools and educational campaigns, that the games are, above all, an entertainment option, where responsible gaming must be considered.
“Participation in this event was an excellent opportunity to show Latin America the advances of Paraná in the sports betting market. We are planning the name of our State and Lottopar for this industry to expand and transmit trust in a jurisdiction with a regulated market, respect for legislation, legal security and a portfolio of lottery solutions that promotes entertainment with security, in a state lottery with pioneering initiatives that consolidates itself as a reference in the sector”, stated the director-president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski.
