Kambi Group becomes official sportsbook partner of Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation following novation agreement

Kambi Group has successfully completed a novation agreement to formally assume contractual responsibility as the sportsbook partner of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). Following the completion of the agreement with FDJ Gaming Solutions France (FDJ) and OLG, the lottery operator officially launched its Kambi-powered sportsbook on 27 January, marking the start of a new long-term partnership.

Kambi, a leading provider of premium sports betting solutions, confirmed that all conditions of the previously agreed novation agreement have now been satisfied. As a result, the company has fully taken over the provision of sports betting services for OLG across both retail and digital channels, strengthening its footprint in the regulated North American market.

The transition follows the 2025 announcement that Kambi had been selected by FDJ, with OLG’s approval, to replace FDJ as OLG’s long-term sportsbook partner, subject to the completion of specific contractual and operational requirements. With these conditions now met, Kambi officially assumes responsibility for powering OLG’s sportsbook operations.

OLG offers sports betting through PROLINE in retail locations and PROLINE+ online, with 100% of profits reinvested into the province of Ontario. By deploying Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook, OLG benefits from market-leading technology and services designed to deliver a scalable, compliant, and engaging sports betting experience for players across all channels.

Werner Becher, Group CEO of Kambi, commented: “We are delighted to have officially completed this transition and to begin the next chapter of our partnership with OLG. Having met all the conditions of the novation agreement, Kambi is proud to become the official sportsbook provider and to launch with one of the world’s most respected lottery operators. We look forward to leveraging our proven technology to support sustainable growth and deliver a safe and entertaining betting experience for players in Ontario.”

Duncan Hannay, President and CEO of OLG, added: “OLG is committed to providing a market-leading PROLINE sports betting experience for our players. We are excited to work with our new partner, Kambi, whose proven track record in product excellence and reliability will support our mission to give back to the people and communities of Ontario. This marks an important step forward for both organizations.”
