Kambi Group plc Expands US Reach with Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation Sportsbook Deal in North Dakota

Kambi Group plc has strengthened its US market footprint through a new multi-year sportsbook partnership with the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation (MHA Nation), delivering advanced on-property sports betting solutions in North Dakota.

The agreement will see Kambi deploy its premium retail sportsbook technology at 4 Bears Casino and Lodge, the tribe’s flagship gaming and hospitality destination located in New Town. Kambi will replace the venue’s existing third-party provider with its market-leading retail solution, featuring a comprehensive suite of self-service kiosks, over-the-counter betting terminals and Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) technology. The upgrade is designed to offer guests a seamless, intuitive and frictionless on-site wagering experience.

The partnership also provides long-term growth opportunities, including the potential launch of on-premise mobile sports betting and future statewide mobile expansion, subject to regulatory approval.

Strategically positioned along Lake Sakakawea, 4 Bears Casino and Lodge has recently completed a new events centre and is close to finalizing a new hotel tower, significantly expanding its guest capacity and strengthening its appeal as a regional entertainment hub.

In parallel, the MHA Nation is advancing development plans for a second gaming property, Son of Star Casino, creating additional opportunities for sustained sportsbook growth across its tribal gaming portfolio.

With this latest agreement, Kambi now operates across 27 US states, further cementing its position as a leading provider of premium sports betting solutions in North America’s rapidly evolving regulated market.

Werner Becher, Kambi Group CEO, said: “We are proud to partner with the MHA Nation and 4 Bears Casino and Lodge to bring world-class sports betting experiences to the state of North Dakota. The MHA Nation is well positioned to elevate its entertainment offering across the state, and this agreement marks another important step in expanding regulated sports betting across tribal gaming.”

Patrick Packineau, 4 Bears Casino and Lodge General Manager, added: “We are delighted to partner with Kambi as we introduce a first-class sports betting experience for our guests. With continued enhancements at 4 Bears Casino and Lodge, Kambi’s proven technology and commitment to tribal operators made them the ideal partner. We look forward to working with them as we continue to grow our gaming and entertainment offerings.”
