All this taking into account that there were firms that exploited said game of chance with precautionary measures issued by the Justice, even during all this time, to date, as if it had been awarded in the 2017 tender, paying a canon derisory

They affirm that this situation is totally illegal, so the Government through the Conajzar must prioritize and enforce the rules, supporting the company that is awarded and eradicate illegality. There are firms that intend to offer sports betting games irregularly, which to date swarm throughout the country with total impunity, causing enormous damage to the arcades of the State, due to the existing impunity, as well as the scant control over them by the Conajzar.

Likewise, point out that there are national and foreign firms that operate in the country without paying any type of tax, causing terrible damage to the collections of the Paraguayan State, resulting in unfair and illegal competition with the awarded company.

They maintain that the State should cut off the signal through its organs or secretariats corresponding to the companies that offer games of chance without the proper authorization of the regulatory entity, since in this way it would be ensuring compliance with the contract signed with the awarded firm, in the reference to exclusivity and thus be able to collect more not only in reference to the canon, but to other taxes such as Income, VAT, IPS, giving work to hundreds of compatriots.

The companies that offer online games of chance are not located in the country, that is, they do not pay anything to the State, they have zero control by government authorities, nobody controls whether there are children playing or the origin of the money, being able to serve to commit other punishable acts such as money laundering and others, they say.
