Sportradar Data Shows PSG Favored in Champions League Final

Majority of Fans Expect PSG Victory

According to figures from Sportradar’s Managed Trading Services (MTS), which processes betting activity for more than 250 sportsbooks globally, 75% of bets placed on the final are backing PSG to defeat Arsenal FC. Only 25% of tickets support Arsenal, positioning the Premier League side as the underdog despite reaching Europe’s biggest club football match.

The betting data includes both standard 90-minute result wagers and outright winner markets covering extra time and penalties.

Arsenal Previously Attracted More Tournament Winner Bets

Interestingly, the trend differs from the broader tournament winner market, which includes bets placed throughout the entire Champions League campaign.

In that category, Arsenal attracted 56% of betting tickets compared to PSG’s 44%, indicating that confidence in the English side was stronger earlier in the competition before the final matchup was confirmed.

PSG Attack Dominates Goalscorer Markets

Bettors are also strongly backing PSG’s attacking players in goalscorer markets ahead of the final.

Ousmane Dembélé is the most popular selection to score, accounting for approximately 46% of all goalscorer bets. He is followed by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with around 28% of tickets, highlighting confidence in PSG’s offensive firepower.

By comparison, Arsenal players have generated significantly less betting interest in scoring markets.

Arsenal Players Receive Limited Support From Bettors

Viktor Gyokeres received the third-highest number of goalscorer betting tickets overall, but with only 5.11% of total bets.

Other Arsenal players attracting support include Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, and Kai Havertz, though none individually surpassed 5% of total betting tickets.

Champions League Betting Engagement Remains Massive

Sportradar also revealed the enormous scale of global engagement with the UEFA Champions League this season.

More than 513 million betting tickets have reportedly been placed across all matches in the competition, underlining the tournament’s continued worldwide popularity among football fans and sports bettors alike.
