Amigo Gaming about SBC Barcelona: it was important to expose our products at home´

(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- The importance of promoting their online games in the Spanish market, and the focus on the expansion towards the Asian and Latin American markets, were some of the topics that were discussed in the exclusive interview that SoloAzar held with Iván López, Marketing Manager and Marga Fernández, Business Development Manager, both from Amigo Gaming.

Amigo Gaming was once again present at the SBC Summit Barcelona 2022, that took place from September 20 to 22. They presented there more than 15 of their games in addition to the launch of their most recent release: Thai Charm, a new game inspired by the Asian market.


One of its distinguishing marks is to identify the relevant aspects of each one of the regulated markets, which are many more within the iGaming industry, and to understand the specific needs of each one of them, respecting their cultural differences. "Amigo Gaming's games are currently in very different markets, and with the international team we have, we are fulfilling the objective of attending each one of them accordingly", they explained.


They told us that it was important for them to exhibit their products "at home" as part of being recognized as a firm located in Barcelona. Referring to their presence at the expo, they added: "we were able to meet again with our partners and show our product to those who did not know it yet". 


During the first day of the SBC Barcelona show, they participated in the conference "International market opportunity – emerging market focus" with the speaker Markus Antl, head of sales and key account management at Greentube GmbH, within the "Innovation in iGaming" sector. "We were interested in the key points to understand the emerging markets, mainly the Asian and Latin American ones, since right now our strategies are focused on having a good start of operations in these markets", reflected both.


When asked about the current markets in which they operate and those in which they are focusing their expansion, they reiterated that one of their priorities is the Spanish market, since Amigo Gaming is a Spanish company. They recognize that it is not an easy task to promote themselves properly due to marketing prohibitions, but they are sure that their games will be well accepted by the Spanish player. "Right now we are starting to operate with the Asian and Latin American markets in a very positive way", they told us; and they anticipated that Lithuania and Georgia will be the next markets to arrive.


Future events for the rest of the year? "We will attend G2E Las Vegas, SBC Miami and Sigma Malta. But, above all, we will start preparing for our exhibition at ICE".
