2 minutos de lectura
(Sao Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- BiS SiGMA South America 2026 wrapped up yesterday at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, setting a new record with 15,800 delegates. The landmark event delivered on its promise to be bigger than ever, blending high-level networking, sports celebrity appearances, and cutting-edge discussions on regulation and responsibility in the gaming industry.
Smooth Organization and Engaging Experiences
The 2026 edition stood out for its flawless organization. Daily accreditation services and complimentary shuttle transportation from multiple hotels ensured a seamless experience for attendees. Exhibitors elevated the expo floor with interactive stands, giveaways, and product launches, creating a dynamic environment that kept delegates engaged throughout the event.
Networking in Style: Golf, BBQs, and Glamour
The summit opened with the Nexus Elite golf tournament, offering 40 select guests a full day of networking on the green, complete with champagne stops and a refined lunch. Meanwhile, the pre-registration event at Boteco São Bento in Vila Madalena featured a traditional Brazilian BBQ, live cooking stations, and a DJ set. Delegates later discovered Sweet Secrets, a vintage-inspired cocktail bar, before attending the prestigious SiGMA Awards, which gathered ambassadors, industry leaders, and gaming associations.
Sports Icons and Cultural Tributes
Sports stars were a major highlight. F1 legend Rubens Barrichello delivered an inspiring speech at the opening ceremony, while football icons such as Zinho, Diego Lugano, Luizão, Vampeta, Müller, and Aloísio Chulapa joined panels and met fans. UFC champion Carlos Prates drew crowds at the 1xBet booth. The expo also honored Pelé’s legacy with a dedicated museum installation showcasing rare memorabilia.
For the first time, the expo floor hosted live fights under the Centurion Grand Prix format, with Yuri Popeye emerging victorious after a thrilling night of competition inside a custom-built octagon.
Regulation and Responsibility Take Center Stage
Across three multilingual stages, panels tackled the industry’s most pressing issues: responsible advertising, taxation, and the digital transition of land-based casinos.
As Lucimara Batista dos Reis, Consul and Chief Compliance Officer at the Honorary Consulate of Brazil, emphasized: “Brazil is living in a time of transition… gaming has always existed in Brazil, and today it’s moving to this regulated side. The responsible game is not punitive, it’s educational.”
The discussions underscored Brazil’s evolving regulatory landscape and its growing role in shaping the future of the global gaming industry.
Looking Ahead 2027 Edition
With record-breaking attendance and a vibrant mix of networking, entertainment, and regulatory debate, BiS SiGMA South America 2026 has cemented its place as a premier industry event. Organizers have already announced the next edition, scheduled for April 5–8, 2027, with expectations of welcoming 17,500 delegates.
The 2026 summit leaves a clear message: Brazil is not just hosting the conversation—it is shaping the future of gaming in Latin America.
