Caribbean Gaming Show 2023 starts today in Bahamas

CGS Group and InnovationLab have joined forces to host CGS Bahamas at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau. Yesterday, May 2, the third edition of the Caribbean Regulators Forum was held, an exclusive event for Caribbean Regulators, Associations and Government Entities, while today and tomorrow the Caribbean Gaming Show event is held.

The Executive Chairman of the Bahamas Gaming Board, Dr. Daniel Johnson, is excited about this alliance which will make the Bahamas a prime destination for many more gaming events. “As we celebrate our 50th anniversary of Independence as a nation and 100 years of gaming in the Bahamas, the Gaming Board is pleased to work with CGS to make the upcoming Conference and Expo a success. We want to make the Gaming Board a first-rate regulator while driving the expansion of the industry. We will also take advantage of this moment to invite the world to see our product in the Bahamas and learn about the investment opportunities”, he stated in previous statements.

Likewise, Elizabeth Leiva Goycochea - CEO of CGS Group and Director of InnovationLab, commented in an interview for SoloAzar last week: "Our two parallel events, as well as the 4 days of post-academic session and Expo networking activities, have been designed so that each delegate receives in exchange the correct value for their investment. The Bahamas is an experience for the English-speaking market, not Latin, not Brazilian. It is something totally different. Conferences, a small product exhibition and the best B2B network is what this group of 200 delegates is looking for. An event like no other and at the height of the country and scheduled celebrations.”

“The Bahamas has remained strong in the gaming industry with a regulatory body that provides investment confidence and protects the reputation of the jurisdiction. Its casinos are located in world-renowned resorts that offer the latest in technology, events, and entertainment,” said José Carlos Figueroa-Troche, Caribbean Regional Manager, GLI, who spoke with SoloAzar about the Regulators Forum, where GLI hosted yesterday the Regulators Roundtable discussion with representatives from the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
