(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive). - After attending the 25th anniversary edition of G2E in Las Vegas, ASAP’s director shares his perspective on the evolution of the industry, driven by digitalization, efficiency, and the creation of international networks that foster new business opportunities.

G2E 2025: Cristian Galarza, ASAP Director Explains the Importance of Attending the Event

To start, we asked what motivated ASAP to participate in the 2025 edition of G2E, and the company's director, Cristian Galarza, explained: “The context of customs facilitation, currency stability (regardless of the electoral factor), and deregulation of industry procedures offers an opportunity to engage with international clients and operators, answer questions about the state of the gaming sector in Argentina, and clarify matters related to Foreign Trade. Many of our clients reside outside the country and require precise information about the economic situation. The elimination of the PAIS tax, the shortening of deadlines to access the foreign exchange market, and the unification of the exchange rate create uncertainty among managers who oversee not just one country, but several. That’s why it’s essential to meet, explain the regulations, and respond to specific inquiries.”

2E and Industry Trends, Innovation, and Technology

“The event is key for learning about the latest technological advances, products, and trends in the industry. Our goal is always to visit as many stands as possible to meet people, exchange ideas, and discover ‘what’s coming’ in terms of innovations.”

News and Networking at G2E

“Many of our clients expressed interest in resuming their imports following the legislative elections on Sunday, October 26. There is a general expectation of currency stability and continuity in economic policy, which could consolidate a favorable framework for the long-awaited deregulation of the sector,” explained Cristian Galarza, and added “Active listening was the most enriching aspect. Visiting stands, introducing ourselves, and making contacts expands professional networks. If these contacts later need references about specific companies, industries, or countries, the prior introduction facilitates the connection. Being that link also allows us to better understand the sector’s demands and urgencies.”

Finally, what lessons or contacts from G2E 2025 will you apply in your work or to grow your company?

“The main lesson was recognizing that industry operators are going through a cautious phase while waiting for post-election stabilization. In this context, staying updated on legal, currency, and customs matters is crucial to react quickly when conditions become favorable. With that premise, we aim to provide information on the latest foreign trade developments through our social media channels and website.”
