GAT Expo CDMX 2026 kicked off with full attendance and international presence
The new edition of GAT Expo CDMX started strongly on Tuesday, May 12, during the Opening Reception at Casino Big Bola Santa Fe, which welcomed a full house and marked the beginning of two days dedicated to innovation, B2B networking, and business development.
The ribbon‑cutting ceremony takes place at 12:00 noon, led by Fadlala Akabani Hneide, Undersecretary of Government of Mexico City, representing the local authorities. He is joined by prominent figures from Mexico’s gaming industry, license holders and operators affiliated with AIEJA, association leaders, and business delegates from sponsoring and partner brands such as Pragmatic Play, Aristocrat, Prometeo IT, Betconstruct, Big Bola Casinos, Merkur, Betby, GLI, and Gamanza.
Delegations from Big Bola casinos across different Mexican states, along with operators and executives from more than a dozen Latin American countries, gathered to participate in an event aimed at boosting omnichannel business innovation and creating new opportunities for the industry ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Expo Santa Fe gathers global leaders and consolidates GAT Expo CDMX as the B2B hub of the gaming industry
On Wednesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 14, Expo Santa Fe will host leading companies such as Pragmatic Play, Aristocrat Gaming, Merkur Gaming Mexico, Prometeo IT Solutions, BetConstruct, GLI, Oracle, Amusnet, and other international brands presenting their proposals.
With this participation, GAT Expo CDMX reaffirms its position as the main space for networking and technological updates for the gaming industry in the region.
Organizer’s Remarks
From the Expo Santa Fe venue, José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, emphasized: “This is our fourth fair in this great country. We are working to have everything ready and to respond to the trust that the Mexican gaming industry has placed in us, with leaders who have very clear objectives and in an extraordinary context that accelerates investment, expansion, and technological update decisions.”
He added: “Our strength has precisely been the ability to adapt the GAT model to the needs of the host market. In Mexico, there is a mature industry with long-term business vision and a particular reality, since the integration between land-based casinos and online operations goes hand in hand, with authorized licensees driving much of the omnichannel ecosystem, including sports betting and digital platforms.”
