What were your main goals and how do you assess Konami’s presence?

The focus of Konami’s participation at SBC Summit Americas was to meet with iGaming operators and partners. We have a mix of popular new slots now arriving to the online space through Konami Online Interactive, and our team is passionate about working with iGaming sites to deliver this content to their users.

What opportunities or partnerships did you generate during the exhibition? 

Konami’s iGaming team made a big appearance at SBC Summit Americas, with myself, Leonardo Sosa, Dalia Vongpanya, and Fabian Carrion there serving current and prospective customers. The opportunities focused on bringing more games from Konami Online Interactive to more iGaming operators and their players.

Industry Trends and Innovations

Which topics or challenges were most discussed, and which matter most for the future? 

Artificial intelligence was a recurring topic of conversation, and it’s highly relevant to the future of digital player attraction and retention. Within Konami Gaming, we have a formal AI task force that is actively trialing AI tools with the potential advance operational workflow and innovation.

Showcase at the Event and Highlights

What did Konami exhibit, and what are the key features? 

Throughout the event, Konami showcased the latest game additions to its Konami Online Interactive iGaming offering. One key highlight is K-Pow! Pig, with a superhero pig character that comes to life during the game’s hold and spin feature, which includes a nested bonus. Another key release, called Unwooly Riches, includes a popular re-spin feature presented by fun rival characters “Sugar” and “Spice”. One of our most high-profile iGaming titles coming to online casinos is BOMBERMAN BLAST, inspired by Konami’s legendary BOMBERMAN video games. All these slots are hit games found in today’s land-based casinos in Las Vegas and beyond.

What are next projects and events? 

In the coming months, our team is working with existing customers to help deliver a reliable pipeline of quality, recognizable games. And at the same time Konami is also working to expand the reach of Konami Online Interactive to more iGaming operators and players in regulated markets across the globe. Konami’s next upcoming events include the PGS 2026 (Lima, Peru), the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association (OIGA) Conference and Tradeshow, Australasian Gaming Expo, TribalNet, and Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas.

Market Outlook

What opportunities do you see for 2026 and 2027? 

Regional iGaming markets can expect continued growth, both in reach and revenue. I see lots of opportunities to capitalize on popular slot games that players recognize from their in-person visits to the casino, which Konami can help support as an omni-channel content provider.
