(São Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Following LSports’ participation at BiS SiGMA South America 2026 Fernando Martinez, the company’s VP of Sales LATAM shares insights on regional expansion, the growing demand for managed services, and how technology is shaping competition in an increasingly regulated landscape.
To begin, what motivated you to participate in this edition?
"LSports is in the midst of a massive expansion in the LATAM region, and this event is the epicenter of that growth. We wanted to demonstrate our commitment to the Brazilian market, support our existing partners, and show the industry that we have the localized support and technology (specifically our sportsbook (LTS) managed services) ready to support the new regulatory landscape."
The experience at BiS SiGMA South America
"The energy and vibe were great. We saw a sophisticated level of inquiry from attendees. It wasn’t just about curiosity; it was about professional operators looking for high-performance solutions. Our daily Happy Hour activations also provided a fantastic, informal setting to truly connect with the community. It proved that while data is our business, relationships are our foundation."
Business opportunities at the event
“The quality of networking was exceptional. We engaged with a high volume of Tier-1 and Tier-2 operators who are looking to upgrade their technical infrastructure as they transition into the regulated market. We also forged strong ties with local consultants and media affiliates. The 'LSports booth' became a hub for discussing how to solve the unique challenges of the Brazilian market, such as managing high-traffic volume during major football fixtures.”
Products or innovations presented at the event
"Our primary focus was LSports’ new managed services offering (LTS). In a market as competitive as Brazil, operators need more than just raw data; they need a managed trading solution that handles the heavy lifting of fixture creation, odds management, and settlement with zero latency. We also showcased ARENA360, our complete solution for trading, risk management, competitive analysis and customer engagement. It’s designed to transform the ability of sportsbooks to optimize their operations, protect their margins, benchmark themselves against the competition and boost customer engagement."
To finish, what opportunities do you see in Brazil and the Latin American region?
"The opportunity is monumental. Brazil is moving toward a mature, regulated ecosystem where the 'survival of the fittest' will depend on technological reliability. We see a massive opening for operators to differentiate themselves through superior data accuracy and localized content. Beyond Brazil, the entire LATAM region is looking at this transition as a blueprint. For LSports, the opportunity lies in being the 'technological backbone' for these operators, providing the scale and stability they need to thrive in a high-stakes environment."
