´We face 2022 with great optimism and with enormous expectations´

(Madrid, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Sebastián Salat, CEO of Zitro, granted an interview to SoloAzar, in which he spoke about the company's performance during 2021, and the expectations for this year. “2021 has been the year of expansion for Zitro Digital”, commented Salat, among other topics.

How do you evaluate the performance of the firm in 2021, the gaming sector and the markets in which you participate?
Despite the fact that 2021 has been an atypical year due to the pandemic, Zitro has managed to emerge stronger from such a complicated time. Our factory of ideas has continued to conceive and develop a new range of great products, which we already presented at our Zitro Experience event in Mexico with great success, and which we are going to present soon at our Zitro Experience Argentina event. Our company's ability to reinvent itself has been more than remarkable in 2021: we managed to expand our presence in the US market, continue with exponential growth in LATAM, enter prestigious casinos in the European market, and maintain our leadership position in Spain, in particular, and in the international video bingo market in general. Finally, 2021 has also been the year of expansion for Zitro Digital, offering our library of video bingo and video slot games to online casinos around the world.
What are the expectations of the firm for 2022?
We face 2022 with great optimism and with enormous expectations. We are confident that 2022 will be a year of recovery for the economy and for our Industry, and a year in which Zitro will record enormous growth on all continents.
Our objectives are clear: to continue expanding our presence in Europe, Asia, and the US, to continue with our unstoppable growth in Latin America, and to continue promoting Zitro Digital, so that online casino operators around the world can offer their customers "Zitro experiences", like those they enjoy when they visit a physical casino.
We feel stronger and more committed than ever to making Zitro the great world leader we envisioned when we established our vision a few years ago.
Do you have any news to communicate?
In terms of product launches in 2022, we recently launched the new GLARE family of cabinets, the spectacular Wheel of Legends game, and tons of other awesome games for all those cabinets, as well as our innovative shared progressive system, Megashare Lounge. All this is the result of the hard work that the talented Zitro team has done for more than a year. As for events, we will soon have the FIJMA fair in Madrid in which we are going to surprise Spanish and European operators with a never-before-seen product offer, at the same time that we participate in the GAT fair in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Next, we will celebrate our Zitro Experience Argentina and Zitro University events, coinciding with SAGSE, in Buenos Aires, which are already some of the most important events in the Latin American gaming industry.
As for North America, this year we are particularly excited about the NIGA fair in California, given our growth in tribal markets in the United States, and that it will precede our already traditional Zitro Experience in Mexico. Towards the end of the year, Zitro will participate in G2E for another year, in the city of Las Vegas. A benchmark event for the world's gaming industry, and one that this year will be of great importance to us given Zitro's commitment to the global gaming market, and to the US and Canadian markets in particular.
