(Cyprus).- StarLadder’s return to competitive Counter-Strike 2 was eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide. The StarSeries has always been known for its unique atmosphere, but Fall 2026 is raising the stakes even further: Ranked Event status, $500,000 prize pool, and only eight spots in the LAN finals, set for September 17-20. MIBR's international roster also joined the list of key participants for the autumn event. Supported by 1xBet, the team is heading to the global stage with one goal: prove itself against the world’s esports elite.

Steamrolling South America: how MIBR secured its StarLadder slot

In Counter-Strike, some tournaments offer a path through rankings, invitations, or even a lucky break. Others require teams to fight their way through the qualifiers – and for MIBR, the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 was exactly that kind of challenge.

MIBR’s run through the South American Closed Qualifier turned into a masterclass. The team went undefeated through the entire bracket, dropping just one map along the way. Fluxo, LP, and ShindeN each tried to impose their game, but MIBR delivered outstanding performances map after map.

The grand final against BESTIA was the icing on the cake. The Argentine side was hoping to put up a fight, but MIBR didn’t let the series drag on. The team took Cache 13:9 before winning Inferno 13:8, sealing a 2-0 series victory. Perfect end to the qualifier and just the beginning of a much tougher journey.

Top eight: who awaits MIBR at LAN tournament?

The upcoming tournament’s format is uncompromising. Among eight participants, four received direct invites via the Global VRS (Valve Regional Standings), while the others earned their spots through regional qualifiers. The final stage will feature the squad facing off against world-class titans like Vitality, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, and FURIA, as well as qualified powerhouses Aurora, magic, and NRG.

It will be particularly interesting to see how MIBR stacks up against a lineup of this caliber – the recent form of LNZ and co. gives fans plenty of reason for optimism. MIBR plays flexible, aggressive CS: over the past three months, the team reached Stage 2 at the Cologne Major, finished in the top four at the CS Asia Championship, and earned an invitation to the Esports World Cup. Maintaining the same energy as in the qualifiers, MIBR is fully capable of becoming the tournament’s biggest surprise.

Every major success is built on strong support. The 1xBet brand is MIBR’s official partner, helping the team grow and reach new heights on the international stage. This upcoming LAN final is a new chapter. MIBR is set to prove it belongs, and 1xBet continues to support the organization every step of the way.

On September 17, all past qualifier glory will be left behind. This is a tournament where avoiding defeat isn’t enough – you have to beat the favorites. And MIBR is more than capable of doing just that!
