Casino ADMIRAL Mendrisio awarded ”Europe’s Best Casino Entertainment Venue 2023”

(Mendrisio).- For the first time, ADMIRAL Casino Mendrisio has been voted “Europe’s Best Casino Entertainment Venue 2023” at the third edition of the annual World Casino Awards. This remarkable achievement by the casino represents the best way to celebrate its recent concession renewal, announced by the Federal Council a few days ago.
The new concession awarded to the ADMIRAL Casino in the Mendrisiotto region will come into effect on the 1st of January 2025 and extend for a period of 20 years until 2044. This is excellent news for the entire region as well as all the employees of the casino, demonstrating its stability and continuity as a leading gaming destination in Switzerland and Europe.
“Just before Christmas, we received two extraordinary gifts”, says Birgit Wimmer, Chairwoman of the Non Executive Board of ACE SWISS Holding AG, holding company and a sister company to NOVOMATIC AG. “The first is the renewal of the concession for another 20 years, giving us the opportunity to continue with our strategy of providing our customers with the best possible gaming experience in an attractive and safe environment. The second is the award as the Best Casino Entertainment Venue in Europe, which is a reference in the casino world and a great source of inspiration and pride for our group”.

2023 turns out to be an outstanding year in the history of the ADMIRAL Casino in Mendrisio, which offers a wide range of gaming and entertainment, including 10 American Roulette tables, 5 Punto Banco tables, 4 Black Jack tables, 2 Ultimate Texas Hold'em tables, 6 Poker Cash Game tables, and 14 tournament Poker tables, hosting both the weekly tournaments of the ADMIRAL Poker Room and major poker events such as La Notte degli Assi, IPO Master, and the Swiss Championship of Poker.
In addition to the table offerings, the casino also boasts 336 Slot Machines and 67 Jackpot Slots, including the Mendrisio Jackpot and the ADMIRAL Jackpot, which can reach up to 500,000 CHF. The casino also features two ADMIRAL Cafès, the ADMIRAL Restaurant, which offers a menu highlighting seasonal flavours, and the ADMIRAL Bistrot, which offers a rich buffet, daily specials, and the popular Bistrot Menu.
