Galaxy Gaming expands its portfolio of casino table games

(Las Vegas).- Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTC:GLXZ), announced today the acquisition of a portfolio of intellectual property developed by students participating in UNLV’s Center for Gaming Innovation. The portfolio consists of a variety of table games and table-game apparatus which was further prepared for commercialization and sold to Galaxy Gaming, Inc. by Big Bet Gaming, LLC.
Mark L. Yoseloff, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Center of Gaming Innovation at UNLV, heads up a semester-long course connecting students with established gaming leaders who serve as guest lecturers and mentors. In its fifth year, classes focus on gaming commercialization concepts and technology, the patent process, marketing, and successful business strategies.
At the end of each semester, students participate in a gaming design contest judged by industry executives. Cash prizes are awarded to seven top students whose unique inventions are commercially viable.
Commenting on the acquisition, Yoseloff stated, “I am extremely pleased to put these products in the hands of this major player in the table-game space. Galaxy’s new management team and aggressive growth plans should provide the perfect home for our students’ products. I applaud Galaxy for their foresight in this important addition to their product offerings.”
