Led by head designer Ed Abadie, Gary Platt’s design team worked closely with Tamarack’s lead designer Larry Henry to create a custom look that perfectly complements Nevada Steak’s atmosphere and décor.  

For the Nevada Steak project, Gary Platt’s artisans hand-crafted the Sonoma Club with distressed brown leather on the seat and chair back. The rear side of the chair back features a rich combination of distressed black leather accented with antique brass studs.

“This was an especially fun project to work on because as a design team, we were considering the bars’ atmosphere as well as the personality of the food and beverage. Bringing each of those elements to life, expressed through each detail we hand-crafted, was a unique and fulfilling challenge,” said Gary Platt Head Designer Ed Abadie.  

Gary Platt created its Sonoma Club model so every inch would provide the most comfortable sit possible. A shorter back provides the perfect combination of support and freedom, and a curved seat front reduces leg strain. The installation is the latest in a 20-year history between Gary Platt and Tamarack Casino. Most recently, Gary Platt provided Lido barstools for the DC Bar at Tamarack, and in 2019, Tamarack upgraded its entire casino floor with Gary Platt’s patented Monaco chair (US Patent No. D829458).
