(Las Vegas).- The oldest casino in Las Vegas embraces innovation, replacing human dealers with advanced electronic gaming technology to redefine the downtown experience.
The Golden Gate Casino, the oldest gaming establishment in downtown Las Vegas, has officially transitioned to an entirely virtual gaming floor, becoming a pioneer in the city’s technological evolution. The move eliminates traditional human dealers, replacing them with cutting-edge electronic gaming systems designed to enhance efficiency and player engagement.
Owner Derek Stevens expressed excitement over the results, saying the new setup has performed “about double” the initial projections. He added that the shift toward electronic gaming first began during the COVID-19 pandemic, though it only recently started to gain significant media attention.
The transformation marks a bold step for one of Las Vegas’ most historic landmarks, signaling a new era in how casinos blend tradition with innovation.
