Hard Rock Casino Tejon officially inaugurated yesterday

(Bakersfield).- Hard Rock Casino Tejon officially opened its doors to the public on Thursday, November 13 at noon. The new casino is located at 1777 Garone Farm Road in Mettler, off of Highway 99.
The lavish Hard Rock Casino Tejon features a 150,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 2,000 slot machines and over 50 table games including Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold ’em and Three Card Poker, and exclusive VIP rooms for Blackjack and Baccarat.
Guests can eat at the world-renowned Hard Rock Cafe, Deep Cut Steaks | Seafood and YouYu, and a food hall with diverse options including artisanal coffee and pastries, street tacos, Southern comfort favorites, and wood-fired Italian classics.
The hotel also features authentic music memorabilia including outfits from Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan. The casino brought in over 1,000 permanent jobs.
The property will also include a Rock Shop offering exclusive Hard Rock merchandise.
Guests can enroll in Unity by Hard Rock, the global loyalty program that rewards gaming, dining, shopping and travel at participating Hard Rock locations worldwide.
Brett Young had a private concert Thursday night.
The California Highway Patrol is letting drivers know to prepare for heavy traffic. CHP Fort Tejon said Thursday that eastbound Highway 166 from Interstate 5 will be closed to traffic and will be diverted to the David Copus Rd. off-ramp.
The project was initially announced in June 2019 and a groundbreaking was held in December 2023.
Last week, the casino unveiled its iconic guitar sign and held a tribal blessing. The Tejon Tribe performed a blessing, praying for all at the casino, including the workers who constructed the massive guitar.
