$360m Destination Debuts in Aurora

Hollywood Casino Aurora officially opened its new $360m entertainment complex on Wednesday, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the property and the city.

Expanded Gaming and Hospitality Offering

The new property offers a significantly expanded gaming experience, with more opportunities for guests to enjoy casino entertainment in a larger and more modern environment.

Beyond gaming, visitors can stay at the property's 226-room hotel, enjoy spa facilities and access a variety of dining options and amenities.

Celebrity Chef Restaurants Headline Dining Options

Among the complex's signature attractions are restaurants operated by celebrity chefs Stephanie Izard and Giada De Laurentiis.

The development also includes a 12,000-square-foot event center designed to host corporate gatherings, entertainment events and private celebrations.

Longtime Customers Welcome the New Venue

The grand opening attracted local officials, casino executives, employees and longtime customers of the Aurora property.

Among them was longtime patron Joe Stupec, who has visited the casino for more than three decades and praised the scale of the new venue, saying it exceeded his expectations.

Weddings Added to the Offering

The entertainment complex is also targeting the events and hospitality market, including weddings hosted at the hotel.

To support that initiative, General Manager Greg Moore has obtained an officiant license, allowing him to personally conduct wedding ceremonies at the property.

PENN Entertainment Leadership Attends Opening

Executives from PENN Entertainment joined the opening celebrations, including President and CEO Jay Snowden and Senior Vice President Rafael Verde, alongside guests and local community representatives.
