How is the casino reopening taking place in different Argentine provinces?

The decision to reopen the game in City of Buenos Aires (CABA) was finalized last weekend, after a negotiation between the owner of the Buenos Aires Lottery, Martín García Santillán, and the Buenos Aires Minister of Health, Fernán Quirós, who was in charge of counseling.

The gaming rooms will be able to operate at 30% of their capacity and every two hours they will have to vacate the rooms to sanitize the place and renew the air. Players will sign an affidavit when they enter to certify that they are not infected with coronavirus.
Last May the opening of the betting agencies had already been authorized and in August, the horse riding activity in the City.

Players will go through sanitizing mats and must wear face masks on a mandatory basis. Drinks or food may not be eaten in the halls, and the slot machines will be separated from one another.

The entry of people who do not want to play will not be allowed. The protocol indicates that companions will be allowed for people who have reduced mobility or some type of disability. At the moment there will be no valet parking. When it comes to games, in roulette and black jack the players will be separated from the dealer by an acrylic.

The online system that began planning even before the pandemic will start almost simultaneously. For its part, the government of Axel Kicillof would wait for everything to start in Capital to enable the opening of bingo halls and casinos throughout the province.

This would be in mid-December, according to businessmen and operators after meeting on October 22 with the chief of staff, Carlos Bianco.

There are already 12 provinces that have opened bingo halls and casinos: Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Misiones, Corrientes, Chaco, San Juan, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Entre Ríos.

Meanwhile, the province of Catamarca had already enabled with strong restrictions the opening of casinos on June 26, followed by La Rioja.

Mendoza
The casinos were back online on November 14. Only 30% of the slot machines are enabled, and in no case may the total number of 120 customers be exceeded within the facilities.

You can play a machine through the media, and you must respect the social distance of two meters at the entrance and boxes. Customers cannot be accompanied, and can only stay on the premises while playing.

The operation of the rooms is enabled from 10:00 to 23:00, with the permanent use of masks. The income is by termination of DNI.

Companies must increase the frequency of cleaning and disinfection in all spaces where the public travels. Cleaning for each machine must be done when the customer stops playing, and before another customer takes that position.

Dispensaries must be guaranteed containing a mixture of 70% alcohol or gel alcohol.
