Japan – Nagasaki has chosen Casinos Austria in race for a casino IR licence

(Nagasaki).- Casinos Austria International has won the race to be the casino partner for an Integrated Resort at Huis Ten Bosch at Sasebo City in Nagasaki, with a design concept that could include a permanent fixture of the Viennese Philharmonic Orchestra.

There is no information about the winning bid at this time. However, the casino spa would place a special emphasis on cutting-edge medical treatment.


Officials from Nagasaki Prefecture confirmed that Casinos Austria received 697 points, putting it ahead of Oshidori International, which partnered with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, which received 682.8 points, and NIKI Chyau (Parkview) Group, which received 667.1 points.


“On January 7, this year, Nagasaki prefecture began the public tender selection for the Kyushu-Nagasaki integrated resort operator. And today we have selected Casinos Austria International Japan to receive priority negotiation rights,” Nagasaki Governor Hodo Nakamura said. We are thankful to all entities that responded to our RFP during the pandemic. We are also grateful for their unique proposals that drew on their own experience and expertise.
