The 22,000 sq ft venue at Landsec-owned destination Xscape Milton Keynes houses a 14,704 sq ft gaming floor with 72 slot machines, 26 electronic roulette terminals and 15 live gaming tables.

It also features a 4,700 sq ft bar and event space designed for live acts, community events and private functions.

The launch event on Saturday 1 November is expected to attract hundreds of guests, including local dignitaries, influencers and celebrities.

The evening will feature live tribute acts, roving performers and a £10,000 giveaway, which MERKUR says will "set the tone for a high-calibre programme of events" to come.
