Nevada Casinos Hit $1.2B in February; Strip Gains Slightly

The Strip posted a win of $696.3 million, about $6 million more than a year ago. The Strip accounted for 56% of the statewide win, figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board show.

It was a good month for locals casinos off the Strip and around Clark County, with a win of $148 million, up nearly 3% compared to February 2025.

Last February marked the start of lower tourism numbers for Las Vegas, and casino winnings were somewhat immune to lower visitor numbers. The new February report released on Thursday shows the state win was 1.5% higher than last February, and the Strip win was 0.86% higher.

Nevada is ahead of pace for the fiscal year (July 1-June 30) by about $83 million, or 0.79%. But the Strip is behind its pace by about $62 million, or 0.88%.

Shelley Newell, senior economic analyst for the Gaming Control Board, noted that the gaming win remains far ahead of pre-pandemic levels, and February 2026 marked the 60th month — 5 years — that the state has recorded a win of $1 billion or more.

Baccarat players on the Strip were betting a lot more this year, losing about $32 million more than they did a year ago. Strip casinos won nearly $120 million total on baccarat with a hold percentage of 14.6%.

Here’s a look at some of the regional breakdowns provided by gaming officials for February:

  • Statewide: $1,236,196,257 (+1.50%)
  • Las Vegas Strip: 696,285,791 (+0.86%)
