Nevada Gaming Market Posts Steady November Growth as Regional Casinos Outperform the Strip

Nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total gaming win of $1.35 billion for the month, up from $1.32 billion in November 2024. For the fiscal year-to-date period from July 1 through November 30, 2025, gaming revenue has risen 2.83 percent, reflecting continued stability across the state’s diversified gaming markets.

Clark County led Nevada with $1.19 billion in gaming revenue during November, representing a 2.04 percent increase compared to the same month last year. However, performance across the county remained mixed.

The Las Vegas Strip generated $784.3 million in gaming win, posting a slight 0.56 percent decline year-on-year. In contrast, Downtown Las Vegas delivered a strong performance, with gaming revenue climbing 10.32 percent to $87.2 million, highlighting sustained demand in the area.

Other Clark County submarkets also recorded notable gains. The Boulder Strip reported gaming revenue of $79.5 million, marking a robust 20 percent increase compared to November 2024, while Laughlin posted $38.0 million in gaming win, up 11.61 percent year-on-year.

Outside Clark County, Washoe County reported gaming revenue of $80.9 million in November, a 6.39 percent increase from the prior year. Reno accounted for $55.6 million of that total, reflecting 7.10 percent annual growth. Elko County also posted solid results, with gaming revenue reaching $35.6 million, up 5.29 percent year-on-year.

From a fiscal perspective, the state collected $82.5 million in percentage fees during December 2025, based on taxable gaming revenues from November. This represents a 5.37 percent decrease compared to collections from the same period last year.

Despite the monthly decline, fiscal year-to-date percentage fee collections totaled $513.3 million, up 4.89 percent from the prior year, underscoring the broader resilience of Nevada’s gaming sector as it heads into the latter half of the fiscal year.
