(Lima).- The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) changed the "Sectorial Health Protocol for COVID-19 for gaming halls." As reported, the resolution that included the previous protocol was repealed, taking into account the guidelines recommended by the health authority.
The previous protocol allowed slots and casinos to have a maximum capacity of 50%. But, as reported, now the capacity will be 40%.
Customers and workers will have to use masks and face shield to enter these premises.
At admission, gel alcohol should be used, footwear disinfected, and users' temperature taken.
Customer service areas must have signage and / or physical barriers to avoid contact.
Slot machines, gaming tables, chairs, and palm rests must be disinfected after each use.
Other modifications for the game rooms is the social distancing in the premises, which must be 1.5 meters.
In addition, it is indicated that the delivery or entry of drinks and food in the gaming rooms will be prohibited.
