Spain: ´Elysium City´ project continues at Castilblanco

Legal Councellor of the company, Idelfonso Romero, has brought all the legal, technical an commercial documents, according to the law, in order to start the construction of Elysium City.

Anyway, Romero has made public a press release in which he affirms that, due to confidentiality reasons reached on the agreement of the different parties, the rest of the details and the material presented, will be made public in the future.

The first project for Elysium City was registrated and presented last December at Merida Congress Palace by John Cora, President of Cora Alpha. The act counted with the presence of the President of Extremadura Council, Guillermo Fernández Vara, as well as Castilblanco Council, María de los Ángeles Merino Bermejo.

Three months ago, Cora Alpha had announced that last May 14th it had reached a financial agreement with Agostar Group PLC to carry out this initiative. According to CA, this British company that quotes on the UK stock market, is specialized on infrastructure and the development of important projects.

Promoters of this project consider that 15,000 employments will be created by the conclusion of the first phase of the project, after the first five years. If it became true, it would be great news for a community with a 25.94% of unemployment, the third greatest unemployment rate of the whole European Union.

Ambicious Elysium City project considers the construction of a theme park and a water park, too, a five-star casino hotel and at least other three and four-star hotels that could include their own casinos.

Francisco de Borbon Graf von Hardenberg, Cora Alpha executive director, said that this smart city would also count with a first-class sports stadium, a golf course, a conference center, on top of different restaurants and entertainment places that would transform this place as a top touristic destiny worldwide.
