Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike unveil new eSports organization

(United States).- The latest EDM artists to enter the video game world are none other than Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The duo have revealed their very own eSports organization, SMASH Esports. It's been reported that the team is focusing on the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive but plan on moving to more games in the future.
Dimitri Vegas spoke on his excitement for the new organization and how much video games mean to him. In a statement obtained by Your EDM he said: “Anyone who knows me, or follows me online, will know that I’m a dedicated gamer. Although I’ve committed my life to music, gaming was there from my earliest memory. So, to be able to formulate this organization and turn a dream of mine into a reality within the eSports world is a project I am 100% committed on. We’re going to do some truly amazing things in the world of eSports with this organization!”
The EDM and video game worlds have seen countless crossovers in recent times. Just last month, Major Lazer was added to Fortnite, the same game that RL Grime, Marshmello, Alison Wonderland, and more have competed in.
