Air Dice Makes Waves at SBC Summit Lisbon and Sets Sights on Global Expansion

(Lisbon, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Air Dice marked a major milestone at SBC Summit Lisbon, unveiling 10 new titles and breakthrough features like customizable volatility in Alchemy Archive. With Latin America as a strategic focus and AI driving innovation, the company is accelerating its global roadmap. Explore how Air Dice is redefining iGaming and what’s coming next at G2E Las Vegas and beyond, in this interview with Erkki Nikunen, Air Dice Partner & CBDO.
“For us, SBC Summit Lisbon has become one of the key milestones of the year,” said Erkki Nikunen, Air Dice Partner & CBDO . “The event has grown in relevance compared to its previous editions in Barcelona, attracting a more diverse audience and, in particular, a stronger representation from Latin America. This makes it especially valuable for Air Dice, given our focus on the region.”
Air Dice main goals achieved at SBC Summit Lisbon
“Our objective was twofold: on one hand, to showcase the progress we have made, our new games and innovative tools; and on the other, to strengthen ties with our partners and open new conversations. Lisbon offered us the right platform to present our vision, demonstrate our creativity, and connect with the industry in a very dynamic way,” he added.
A brand-new feature in Alchemy Archive and other highlights
Air Dice was very excited to introduce a brand-new feature in Alchemy Archive, a game where the player can select their preferred volatility level, enjoying a customized experience. The title also breaks with traditional mechanics, as it has no fixed win lines: instead, the number of symbols appearing anywhere on the 5x6 grid determines the reward.
Another highlight was Piggy Shifter, which integrates our proprietary Shifter™ mechanic. This allows players to shift reel order after an initial win, uncovering new win lines, boosting multipliers and unlocking bigger rewards.
As the leading provider of Dice Placement games, the firm showcased new 3-Box versions adapted for international markets.
“Altogether, we presented 10 new titles and upcoming releases, part of an ambitious roadmap of nearly 30 launches this year — averaging three games per month. This pace reflects not only our capacity to deliver, but also our commitment to constant innovation,” he highlighted.
AI to shape the iGaming industry
“Artificial Intelligence is already transforming the iGaming industry in many ways: from content creation and operational efficiency, to game recommendation systems, player protection tools, payment optimization and targeted marketing campaigns. The impact will only increase in the years to come,” he said.
“For Air Dice, it is essential to stay ahead and ensure we can apply AI to enhance our games, services, and the overall player experience. The companies that manage to integrate these technologies with a clear strategy will be the ones driving the industry forward.”
LATAM: One of Air Dice strategic priorities
“Latin America continues to be one of our strategic priorities,” said Erkki Nikunen when asked about the market strategies.
“Over the past few years, we have invested strongly in the region, and today we enjoy solid brand recognition and the support of a great team. Brazil, with its enormous potential, is a major focus — where we already have a local entity. We are also licensed in Peru, certified in Colombia, and present with hundreds of operators across LatAm, including Mexico, another key market where we aim to grow further.”
Asia, North America and Asia in the target
“This year we also entered Asia, a new territory for us with exciting prospects, although still in the early stages. In Europe, our footprint is already wide, but we continue to see room for expansion, specifically in the UK. And personally of course for me as a Finn from a Finnish company, I am looking forward with great interest to see when the regulation in Finland starts in 2027.
“Beyond that, we are preparing important moves in North America and Africa, where we expect to launch significant projects soon. In short, we are in a moment of global expansion, and every region is part of that roadmap.”
