(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- At G2E 2025, Air Dice made a strong impression with the debut of ten new game releases and upcoming titles. Erkki Nikunen, Partner and CBDO, highlighted the company’s focus on player-driven features. With a winter-themed “Nord Legends” booth and growing interest from sweepstakes operators, Air Dice reinforced its position as a creative force in regulated markets and Dice Placement games worldwide.

Air Dice Unveils 10 New Game Innovations at G2E 2025, Showcasing Volatility Control and Shifter™ Mechanics

New features and mechanics unveiled at G2E

During this Autumn we have been showcasing several new features and mechanics in our games and we are very excited to see how they will be welcomed by the players once they launch”, said Erkki Nikunen.

“In a “Alchemy Archive”, the player can choose the volatility level of the game to the level they prefer. The game has no traditional win lines, only the amount of symbols anywhere on the 5*6 grid will reward the player. Other mentionable game is “Piggy Shifter” which has our own Shifter™ game mechanic, where you can shift the order of the reels after the initial win to find other win lines and increase the multiplier and get bigger wins.

And as we are the leading provider of the Dice Placement games, we have also new 3-Box versions for the international markets of those games All-in-all we were showcasing 10 new releases and upcoming games still this year.”

Comparing to G2E 2024, Nikunen said that in G2E 2025 there were two big differences: “One was that there were much less people from LatAm than last year and secondly, even with the turmoil around Sweepstakes at the moment in the US, there seemed to be much larger amount of operators from that segment. Otherwise the show was quite busy and we did have a good amount of meetings with existing partners from both B2B and B2C and our expectations were well met by G2E. And Las Vegas itself presents pretty much unlimited number of possibilities for networking, specially if you have an unlimited wallet, as it can be ridiculously expensive there. But good planning ahead makes all the difference in any event.”

Air Dice and its second experience at G2E

“This was our second time exhibiting at G2E and since the US started to regulate the market, the significance has grown very much globally. G2E is the third largest exhibition of all venues in Las Vegas, from any industry, so that already tells a lot of the importance of the show and how it has grown. Next year it is of course unfortunately during the same dates as SBC in Lisbon, so we will have to see how we can cope with that. We would always prefer that important exhibitions would stay the same dates, to plan earlier and not have overlapping big events. -That does not really serve anyone’s interest.”

Focus on player interest

Regulated markets provide a safe and fair competitive market for everyone, as they have the same rules for all. In games, that means that we need to think differently in how we develop new features and mechanics as some of those cannot be used in some markets. Features like buy-ins or even freespins may not be allowed, so we need to think of new ways to differentiate our games for the player. And I think that choosing the volatility level, so that the player can find a way that will fit her playing style better is a good way to match both player interest and regulation.”

Enhancing User Experience for Operator Documentation

“On the other side, issues like AML, KYC and such take a lot of time from the player and can be quite irritating for a lot of players. No one wants to send a lot papers back and forth to be allowed to play, but this should be a seamless process as much as possible for the player. In the Nordics this is quite far automated with e.g. payment providers handling a lot of these requirements through open banking and PSD2 standards. A good example is Trumo, who has the most advanced automation for KYC and AIS from any other payment provider in the market to help operators improve the seamless user experience for all documentations.”

Air Dice booth theme with the “Nord Legends” game has been a hit

The firm was satisfied with the performance of the firm at recent G2E. “We managed to improve our location in the exhibition since last year so we had good visibility. Also our this year’s theme with the “Nord Legends” games has been a nice hit with visitors coming to just see our stand with the hut and winter feel. And this is the best place to meet Sweepstakes operators and as we are launching our first sweepstakes operators this month. So we are looking forward to that and continue our strong growth in a lot of new markets this year,” he concluded.
