What novelties did you bring to G2E?

The most innovative product on the stand was the brand new Multitouch roulette table, a fully automated machine, that combines the experience of a live roulette table with the advantages of having an electronic setup, that eliminates the necessity for additional personnel adding to cost effectiveness and secure operation in a modern gaming venue. The machine at the show represented a step further, being the first of its kind to offer the possibility to operate as a fully automated or live – the dealer can spin the wheel manually! The Royal Derby is a fixed attraction of any gaming exhibition, capturing the fantasy of players and visitors alike. The horse-racing machine was pesented with best and latest in single terminal design, including two options; the WIKY has a 32” touch screen monitor, while a brand new Felix S boasts a 27” one. The latter will enter the operation by the end of this year, elevating the bar for everybody in the industry. The Table Top is a compact solution for alternative placement, such as bars or tight spaces, and has returned combined with a coffee table style base, emphasizing the virtually endless adaptation possibilities. The new unit has got a 27” touch screen aswell. Alfastreet is working on a further improvement of the user interface and managed to show the preliminary version of the unified platform, obtaining good feedback and positive reactions. The Felix S slot machine has already gained recognition in the industry with solid performance and constant evolution. 

What is your assessment on the presentation of the company in this edition of G2E?

Alfastreet is satisfied with the outcome of the show, the attendance was good and the booth very busy throughout the three days of the show. As far as the build up to the show itself and the service provided by the organizer there are some things that could be improved for the future editions.

What does G2E mean for the company?

The G2E in Las Vegas is among the most important gaming exhibitions worldwide, for sure the most important occasion for the markets of the Americas, the islands in between and regular attendance from the gaming operators from other parts of the world. It is the important to be present and back up our sales efforts with the opportunity to display our product range close to the target markets.

What plans does the company have for the remainder of this year?

The production lines are busy with satisfying the orders, while all the remaining departments are already preparing for the beginning of the 2018, which will see the introduction of some very attractive novelties and some products that will broaden Alfastreet portfolio and strenghthen the leading position as a producer of innovative gaming equipment. The sales team is busy covering ground and bringing the gaming equipment to customers worldwide.

What are the next shows for the company?

The major efforts before the end of the year are Argentina and Bulgaria, two markets where Alfastreet is dominanting as a producer of the electronic gaming equipment. The players and operators alike are eager to experience the latest advances and look forward to join us at the respective stands. 

Do you think online gambling and sports betting are a competition or a complement to land-based gambling halls?

I think that this depends on the specifics of the markets, but would overall consider them more as a complement than competition, primarily to the fact, that the dedicated guests of the gaming halls are not likely to stop visiting them and renounce the thrill of a physical experience. The future will probably see a combination of the three areas, with intent to maximize the gaming experience for a single player, of course depending on the legislative ground work.
